Happy Gilmore Rules
             Fall 2021

           Scoring

Hole in One:  10 points

Eagle:     8 points

Birdie:     4 points

Par:        2 points

Bogey:     1 point

1.  Cost $25.00 per golfer to enter season

2.  Shooter McGavin Mulligan per golfer, first 8 holes                  

3.  Play as a foursome on hole # 9

4.  A Chubb's Best Ball can be used one time during the first 8           holes by each team.

5.  2 person scramble, 3 and 1, and Scotch Doubles formats

6.  All par 4's will be played as a foursome.

6.  $1 per golfer, on each Sunday for Skins on hole #9.

7.  .50 cents for each golfer, each Sunday for hole in one pot.

8.  All players tee off from Gold tees.  Players who have identified       themselves as female for that round, can tee off from the             Green tees when the yardage for the Gold tees reads, "135"         or more.

9.  If your age is 70 for female and 75 for males, or older, you can play from the Green tees on all holes.

10. Don't walk the course.  If you need exercise, please walk in         your neighborhood and not on the golf cart paths.

11. Handicaps are based on the Maricopa Dominican mail in               system.

12. Winter 2023 is scheduled for different matches.  Your best         scores will be used to calculate a player' final standing.  A             player must have played in 11 matches to be eligible for prize        money

13.  Threesomes are not allowed, unless waived by #5.  

14. If we get rained out, or shut out, the required matches            will be lowered by one for each non-playing event.

15.  If you attend 16 or more matches, you are automatically              invited to the next season.  

16.  Please make Happy Gilmore a Sunday Priority.  Missing                matches isn't fun for anyone.  Please attempt to attend all 20        matches. 

17.  Subs who participate in the Hole-In-One pot get $50.00, not        the entire cash value.

18.  When playing Sarasota Big Holes, a hole in one is worth              $100.

19.  A Hole In One, if using a Mulligan is worth $200 as of                  01/30/2022.  The amount is flexible depending on amount in        the hole in one pot.

20.  These rules are subject to change upon the commissioner's           mood.

21. Priority Members:  Are members that have played the season

      prior and continually play every season and get the required

      participation scores per season.  Members who miss a                  season, but want to remain a priority member shall, upon             their return provide two "Snowbird Buckets" of beer to the          priority members.

22.  Priority Club members will receive first priority to get back            into the Fall or Winter league.

23. Hole in One money will be divided equally if one or more 

      players get a hole in one during the same round.

24.  To be elgible for prize money, the individual must satisfy all           the requirements for each season.
